All other playgrounds in the Township were opened on July 3, 2020. All playgrounds, including the Gardner Field Playground, will be open to the public from 10AM to 8PM, weather permitting. Due to the popularity of the Gardner Field Playground, a playground attendant will be stationed at the entrance to ensure the following rules are adhered to by visitors.
- A maximum of 50 individuals (including adults and children) will be permitted into the playground area at any one time.
- Children aged 3 and older along with adults are required to wear masks at all time while within the grounds of the playground.
- Visitors to the playgrounds are expected to respect 6’ foot social distancing protocols.
- No food or beverages of any kind, will be permitted in any of the playground areas.
The playground equipment will be cleaned periodically but will NOT be sanitized. Therefore, visitors to the playgrounds are entering at their own risk.
The Township reserves the right to close its playground with or without notice. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and compliance with the above listed requirements, which will help to ensure the visitors to the playground remain healthy and we are able to keep the playgrounds continuously open.
