To ensure full compliance with the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA), the physical meeting location will be open to the public at the time of the meeting.
In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Township will also be live-streaming the Council Meeting for individuals to be able to watch and listen from the comfort and safety of their own home. The meeting will be broadcast live starting at 7:30 PM at the following site: http://www.denvillenj.org/youtubelive.php.
Furthermore, if individuals who elect to watch the meeting remotely wish to participate, they may do so by e-mailing their comments or questions to the Municipal Clerk at email@example.com by 3:30 PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. The e-mail must include your full name and address along with your comment or question. Your name, address and the comment or question shall be read into the record and responded to during the appropriate public portion of the meeting. The time limit for all comments and questions shall be limited to no more than three (3) minutes per individual in accordance with Council Meeting guidelines.
During the current COVID-19 Pandemic, the Township Council is going to attempt to consolidate its meetings to one per month and also attempt to address only critical time-sensitive operational agenda items in an effort to streamline its meetings for the health and safety of all involved.
